I'll take him. He clearly wants to be in Miami. Is a very productive player and a good tackler. It also sures up another position before the draft. |

Interesting. Sounds like this has been in the works. Clark will be 31 this year, so this isn't a long term deal. He was an undrafted rookie, so he's done well. He has a health issue which prohibits him from playing in Denver's thin air, but that's not much of an issue as we don't play them this year. He would be an upgrade on Gibril Wilson and give Clemons another year to develop.

Would he be an upgrade over Wilson though? What about that guy Otagwe or whatever his name is from St. Louis? I remember his name being a big name last off season before the rams put the franchise tag on him.

This guy would be great, but with that said I would love the Dolphins to go after Atogwe of the Rams. He is a FS ball hawk. He is really good and I would prefer him before Clark. Although Clark I think can hold up playing alongside Bell (which is great), why not write up a contract offer to Atogwe. He wouldn’t cost us any draft picks (as Clark wouldn’t either) and is worth the money. Either way I believe the Dolphins will be better.

Too good to be true I'm afraid. Ryan Clark just says no to the Dolphins. Pity. |

In a way this is a good story. Unlike most players, he decided to stay loyal to his team and keep his family in one place. Apparently he took a little less money to stay with the Steelers. Means he actually has a heart unlike Antrelle Rolle.

Could also mean that he used the Dolphins in order to get the Steelers to commit.
Or maybe he called the wife when he got back to the hotel, and she told him to carry his sorry a** back to Pittsburgh 'cos she certainly wasn't moving anywhere. And pick up some milk and toilet paper on the way home. |
