Here's hoping some of those negotiations take place with the Dolphins. Chris Nelson is a journalism major at Georgia State University. He operates his own Miami Dolphins blog, which can be found here.

Ever since Coles made those comments bashing the Jets for releasing Pennington last August, I have thought he would end up here. He has always killed us, so it would be great to see him in aqua and orange. He's an excellent route runner and would instantly upgrade our receivers. If we could land him, and then draft a rookie, we could be set at receiver.

So many choices. Can't wait till free agency starts!!

Marvin Harrision is available also.

Why did the Jets release him? Cap space?

I don't know about Harrison. He still has the skill, but is age catching up with him? Payton hasn't been throwing the ball to him as much which means something is up. While I think he is a great receiver I think we should stay away from him.

Coles is interesting. He is not a Harrison, but he is still a primary target for his QB.

Yeah Harrison is older and he also has those off the field problems with that alleged shooting. Parcells won't even think about him.

In case anyone hadn't noticed, Coles signed a 4 year, $28 million deal with Cincinnati yesterday... man teams are really overpaying for average to above average players this year (aka not incredible like peyton manning, tom brady, randy moss, andre johnson, etc).

Even Haynesworth, he had 2 great years and suddenly everyone forgets he was a nobody for 5 years before that and that he stomped all over that guys face (among other run-ins with the law)? $100 million? unbelievable... maybe the NFL should be rescuing our banking system and mortgage crisis.

It looks like Coles is going to replace Hooshyomama who went to SEA!
