View Full Version : Favre Retires. Good or bad for the Phins?
I think Kellen Clemens has a better chance at beating us than Brett Favre. However, maybe not. The only time we played against Clemens, we were a 1-15 team which we definitely are not anymore.
The Jets are going to be about 7-9 at best next year I expect. Sucks for all those big name free agents who signed with them expecting to win a championship. Aint gonna happen.

I think Favre is better than Clemens. Even with his aging arm and interceptions. He was comfortable and usually his best when under pressure. Maybe they will look for another QB in the draft.
When is their pick? Like 17 or so? They could draft that mexican guy sanchez from usc.

With a rookie they are most likely in rebuild, so they might go for someone like Jeff Garcia considering all the money they have invested in that team. They are in a "win now" mode I think, and a rookie likely doesn't give them that.
Rookie head coach. My guess is rookie head coaches won't have the success this year that they did last year. I feel as if teams won't take anyone for granted.

Does he retire as a Gang Green or a Cheesehead?

I heard that they want to retire his number in Cheesehead Land.
He will obviously go in as a packer. He was a failure in NY.
