Hey all,

What to look for tonight? Dallas won't be using many of their starters, and probably none of the notable ones. On the contrary, Sparano wants to see his starters have some success on both sides of the ball.

So basically, we better kick their butts.

What do yall think?

GO DOLPHINS!!!

Omar Kelly says Rookie ILBer Micah Johnson is starting for Channing Crowder, and CB Jason Allen is starting for Vontae Davis.

So, other than that, all other starters are starting. Who knows how long they'll play. My guess? 3 series.

Dolphins are in aqua tonight for an away game. Cowboys must like to wear white at home.

Mike Berardino tweeted who the Cowboys only starters tonight are:
Just 3 #Cowboys (http://twitter.com/search?q=%23Cowboys) regulars will start on offense (LG Holland, RT Brewster, FB Anderson). Just one on defense (LE Jason Hatcher).

Well, we drove down there, but only got a field goal on the Cowboys 2nd team. Hmmm. I'm guessing first team will be out there again.

Okay this doesn't sound good. Chad Henne got wacked from the blind side, fumbled, and apparently Jake Long hobbled off the field and is having his left knee looked at. If he is injured, Sparano will never be forgiven for playing the starters in this game.

I really don't want to be negative guys, but I am getting very frustrated by Chad Henne's inability to make a quick decision. He is taking forever making his reads and that just led to a sack, a fumble and a turnover. And this is against the Cowboys 2nd and 3rd teamers.

Tweets coming in say Long looks fine, but is done for the night. So is Henne.

Meanwhile, Sean Smith gives up a 43 yards TD to Sam Hurd from backup QB McGee.

Ummmmm.

Jeff Darlington sums it up:

Jeff_Darlington (http://twitter.com/Jeff_Darlington) Last few minutes have been pretty brutal for the Dolphins. Henne sacked. Long hobbled. Sean Smith beat for a 43-yd TD by Sam Hurd.

Pennington is getting hustled and hurried with Gardiner and Myrtha in as tackles, but he is making quick, smart decisions.

And Pennington finishes off a very professional, workmanlike 80 yd drive with a TD pass to Hartline. Very nice.

NFL.com has great highlights of all the sizable plays for those who missed the game. Which is most.

Here is Omar Kelly's, always stellar analysis: http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sports_football_dolphins/2010/09/aftermath-of-the-miami-dolphins-preseason.html

I found this quote from Chad Henne rather telling: “The sky is the limit,” Henne said. “We have the players in there that can make big plays and get in the end zone a lot. We can be more consistent on offense. Everybody has to be making the right decisions. I have to be the leader in there and get everybody going each and every game.

The sky is the limit because this team, especially this offense has a lot of talent. So, there should be no excuses when we go into Buffalo in 9 days. They are a weak, young defense, and we should expect to put 30+ points on them. It ain't pre-season no more baby!

Just finished watching, Thigpen and Wallace looked very good together.
