Well my fellow MDBW Dolfans. I am travelling this great United States at the moment and will not be back in the Bahamas until after the Atlanta game.

I intend to find a sports bar in the Charlotte area to witness the Miami Dolphins start the 2009 defense of their AFC East Championship.

I have watched the Dolphins go undefeated in the Pre-Season and now it's time for prime time.

Can Chad Pennington and the offense continue to generate enough points and limit the turnovers, and can the defense create the pressure, sacks and turnovers to keep piling up the wins and confound the critics for another year in a row?

Make no mistake, this is a focused and well coached team, and I fully expect Tony Sparano to have this team ready for the Falcons on Sunday.

In the Bahamas or not, I will be watching the game, and I am anticipating a great showing from my Miami Dolphins. Prediction? Dolphins 23 Falcons 20

Does anyone here think that the Dolphins could come to Atlanta and FinsFan not show up to represent the best team in the NFL? No Way!

My wife and I have front row seats in the Club Level Seating. Unfortunately Ronnie and Ricky won't be able to hear me yelling, but I will be wearing my Phins garb with pride.

"Woken up by anticipation and excitement of the dawn of another Miami Dolphins season!"

Above is an IM received from MD this morning before the sun was up, waking me out of a great dream about Ted Ginn taking a kick off back 103 yards for a TD.

Let the SEASON BEGIN!!!!!!

Well thats over, not a great outing by he O, The ofenseive line needs some work. Not much time for Chad or Ronnie. On the bright side, Ricky is still the man.

Both Ricky and Ronnie ran well. Fasano blew it and Chad didn't do so well himself. While Jason and Joey Porter did well on D, the secondary blew it too.In the end I will blame it on the turnovers and thank Elam that it wasn't worse.

The O line performance was weak at best, but I have to think that they will quickly improve. The D did well, but the secondary got picked apart by a second year QB, and I think that might be a season long problem. Special teams got manhandled on kick off returns. Lots to work on before Manning & Co come to town. Bright spots? Phillip Merling & Ricky Williams and the run defense.

But, upon further review, there wasn't enough pressure on Ryan. If Manning gets that much time it will be scary for the secondary.

Any given Sunday...

Hopefully we will see a completely different team on Monday Night.

Before then, GO GATORS!
