Now that T.O. just signed with the Bills, their offense is immediately improved despite having a below average QB who holds onto the ball too long. This coupled with Brady coming back and throwing to Welker and Moss is big news for the Dolphins.

We NEED to address the CB situation. The only thing that has happened in that department this off season is LOSING Andre Goodman! The Dolphins have been tossed around in talks about Bryant McFadden of Pittsburgh, but he only started 8 games last year and had 2 picks. Why would we pay him what he wants (6-7 mil) when he'd technically be a downgrade from Goodman? Then there's Eric Green that nobody has ever heard of from AZ who visited with us a couple days ago but hasn't signed anything or as much as we are aware, not even been offered anything.

So what do we do? Can we make a trade? There are rumors that the Eagles are trying to trade Sheldon Brown. He's older, but he is a shut down CB who is used to covering T.O. We have $12-14 mil in cap room left, let's DO THIS MIAMI!

Then, after signing someone, I think we still need to address CB with our #25 pick or if not, then someone who will upgrade our pass rush because getting heavy pressure on the QB will improve the defensive backfield as well.

Thoughts?

Couldn't agree more in terms of the need. And if we see it, I'm sure that the Trifecta see it too. My guess is that they will be going with the Draft to fill this need, which doesn't bode well for this season but is the right way to go IMO. I like the look of Utah CB Sean Smith who has the size at 6'3" and 210 lbs. Likely 2nd rounder. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald had this to say:

• Sean Smith interests the Dolphins, who met with him and want another private session Monday at Utah's Pro Day. ''There are not many 6-3 corners,'' Mayock said. ``But he's got a chance to be a good NFL corner, though you cannot leave him in man coverage all day.''

Well, so much for McFadden, he has signed a 2 year deal with the AZ Cardinals
