  • The History of miamidolphinsbahamas.com

It was the year 1999 while I was in grade school when I first was introduced to the magic of HTML and website building. A simple after school activity sparked my interest and influenced me to spend my own time in learning more. As a Dolphins fan, I immediately decided that the Dolphins would be the theme of my website. I spent hours a day after school figuring out new code and adding it to my website. The site, at the beginning looked merely like any common fan site. It basically looked like one of the "Welcome to my home page…" sites. As time passed, and the hours were spent after school, The Miami Dolphins' Bahamian Website grew. Below are two images of what this website used to look like. The first is from 2000, and the second is from the later stages of 2000 until 2003 when I redesigned it again. I would also like to note that there aren't anymore annoying pop ups like there used to be. I had always edited the site through Angelfire, and now I have completely redesigned it in Dreamweaver mx, a fantastic program. For those of you who have been loyal to my website and have read through my sometimes horrible prose, thank you. I promise it will get better.

It was through this story and this site that I started to design new websites for others. I have designed three other websites. Most recently, in the summer of 2002, I designed www.coinrealm.net.

For those of you who are in the early stages of learning HTML, it is a fascinating field of work. Pursue it with interest and perseverance, for it can be quite frustrating at times.

Please enjoy miamidolphinsbahamas.com, and tell all your friends!
